This page is maintained by the Within team to explain how the app handles your information. It is written in plain language and is intended to be complete; it is not a substitute for legal advice.

What we store

Within stores settings, journal entries, reflections, recovery information, and emergency contacts on your device. If you sign in and enable account sync, your email address, account identifier, and selected app content are transmitted securely and stored with our cloud service provider, Supabase, so they are available on your other signed-in devices.

What we don't do

Within does not sell your data, does not use your entries to train models, and does not display third-party advertising.

Analytics and crash reports

Aggregated, anonymous product analytics and crash reports may be collected to help us improve the app. These reports do not include the content of your journal entries or reflections.

Your controls

You can turn sync off, export a full copy of your data, or permanently delete your Within account and its local and synced data from Settings.
